Abstract

The study was to set out to assess the effectiveness of human resources training and development in pubic organization, the case study of Immigration services development. The general objective of this study was to get an insight of human resources training and development in public organization training and development police and programs; on how implemented, monitored, and evaluated; asses levels of the employees’ skills and education in jobs. The findings from the study show that public organization employs people with different levels of education according to its needs, mostly depending on the related qualification to the particular jobs for example, foreign language. The results show that there is training and development programs and different problems that affect it. In general, findings support other studies that, well- planned training and development police will enhance its effectiveness on its implementation and it should be participatory and transparence. To maintain competition globally, the study recommends to the organization gives human resources training and development programs adequate importance.
