dc.description.abstract | Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Arusha National Parks are threatened by farming (both subsi stance and large scale), encroachment by settlements to their boundaries and the concojnitant poaching.The Kilimanjaro National Park with its special tropical mountain aesthetics is being devastated by frequent fires caused by illegal grazers and honey/wildlife poachers. Halt to the encroaching settlements and on site investigations to establish accurate extent of threat and damage so far are proposed. | en_US |
