Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), has just gained impetus however, it has caused dramatic changes in task-level process, workflow and communication structures of individuals and groups. While organizations and knowledge workers recognize the value of ICT use for work, appreciation for the influence of social context and networks that support the use of ICT and its impact on performance remain unclear. The main focus of this study was to determine the extent of use of ICT services to influence organizations performance. The study adopted a positivism research philosophy. The study used primary data in carrying out the analysis. Using questionnaire the research targeted 150 respondents from the field. However, only 72 percent of response was achieved. The software package for Statistical Sciences (SPSS) was applied to perform data analysis, with a multiple regression model for hypothesis testing. The analysis results indicated that the construct organization change exhibit strong relationship with level of firm performance. It was noted that firm performance is fairly good. Thus the study recommended that effort should be directed in bringing about harmony in organization resource utilization in order to attain high level performance.
