The study was hinged on three specific objectives First, it identified the employees personal characteristics with respect to sex, level of education, age, job tenure, kind of employment and designation. Second, the study examined the underlying factors of work motivation and their respective importance. Lastly, the study endeavoured to determine the level of motivation of the employees. Data were collected by the use of self-administered questionnaires. The study findings suggested that many employees ` age ranged from 26 to 54 years, had worked at MHA for a period of five or less years ans were employed under permanent base.
