Abstract

Although most of Tanzanian companies face low production levels, inflexible competition, high cost of production and longer lead time in saving customer firms are still using inefficient technologies, the adoption of Enterprise Resource planning systems (ERP’S) has many business implications, Such as to enhance efficiency through integration and sharing of business processes in real-time. The specific objective was; to determine technological factors influencing adoptions of ERP among Tanzania’s organizations. The descriptive research design was used in this study and the sample size was 73 respondents. Study data was collected using a questionnaire developed by the researcher and administered with the help of a supervisor. The data was analysed through tables and figures. The results indicate the user involvement in system development and implementation, user training and incorporation of other systems such as SCM/B2B e-commerce influence adoption of ERP in Tanzanian Organization.
