The health of the union's livestock

This report covering a period of one year, from 1st July 1947 to 30th June 1948, is, as in past, divided into two sections. A) Research B) Field work During the year the division sustained a very heavy loss by the retirement on pension of Dr. P.J. du Toit from the position of Director of veterinary services a post which he has held with great distinction for 21 years. This article produce result of research on laboratory products, smears etc.
