The aim of this study is to provide a systematic review the evidence of the bi- Directional relationship between economic growth and health development i n Developing countries, to characterize the situation i n SSA . And to provide explanations for the observed divergence of the performance of SSA from the overall global trend. To test the hypotheses in the study, two approaches were used sequentially In the first stage, the study adopted a meta-analysis methodology to have a sense of the parameters governing the association between economic performance and health h are distributed. In the second stage, the correlations been the variables were studied together with line fitting and measure of goodness of fit to verify the associations between health and economic growth in SSA The statistically significant results of the meta-analysis show a bi-d1rect1on link. between income growth and improvements in health status with elasticity tics ranging from 0.1 to 0.6 for the link running from growth health 311d elasticity’s ranging from 0.1 to 4 for the link running from health to growth. The results of the correlation analysis suggest that on average. Economic development does not enhance health h status. And health have not health have not led to income growth SSA. However analysis also shows that income growth is more likely to translate into health improvements in non-mineral dependent countries than in mineral dependent countries in SSAen_US
