dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study was to identify post Warehouse Receipt Systems copping strategies adopted by Small and Medium Agricultural enterprises in Tanzania. Specifically, the study intended to: identify the impact of warehouse receipt systems on agricultural commodities supply and performance of SMAEs, identify the copping strategies adopted by SMAEs to offset the impact of the warehouse receipt system in Tanzania and the post WRS challenges facing SMAEs. The study used both qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the quantitative part, the study used a sample of 44 SMAEs drawn from Ifakara-Kilombero through systematic random sampling techniques. Quantitative data were analysed through descriptive statistics and thematic was used to analyse qualitative data.en_US
