dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to assess the performance related pay and non monetary incentives effects on employees job satisfaction in NGOs: Compassion International Tanzania was used as a case study. The questionnaire was used as a method of data collection. The questionnaires were distributed to 82 employees of Compassion International Tanzania who hold different positions in the organisation such as senior managers, middle managers and normal employees. Afterward, statistical data were coded and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 windows program. Data collected from the survey was analyzed by using T-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), regression analysis and correlation analysis. The study found that performance related pay and non monetary incentives strategy are very powerful tools towards attaining employee job satisfaction which leads to the individual and organization performance. The study further revealed that the vast majority of employees get satisfied with their jobs by being motivated by monetary and non monetary incentives such as job security, staff retreat and healthy coverage and education supports. The study concludes that both performance pay and non monetary incentives increase employee's job satisfaction. The implementation of this strategy is well accepted and adopted for the benefit of the organization towards attaining employees job satisfaction and organization performance at large.en_US
