This study is an assessment of factors that influence export performance of non-alcoholic beverage products of Tanzanian Small and Medium Sized Enterprises. More precisely, the study intended to examine whether product quality, export knowledge and export cost influence firm export performance of non-alcoholic beverage products. The research involved 50 exporting enterprises in Dar Es Salaam that process and sell non -alcoholic beverage products. The collected data were coded and subjected to the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software for analysis. Descriptive statistics were computed where frequencies and percentages were used for analysis. Moreover, the multiple regression analysis was computed to ascertain the relationship between three independent variables namely; export knowledge, product quality and costs of exports, and a dependent variable which is export performance. The findings of the study revealed that export knowledge and Product quality show significant relationship with export performance. However, export knowledge shows the strongest influence by displaying the highest significance level of 0.000 above the other two variables. Export costs indicated insignificant relationship with the export performance. The study recommends that SMEs should invest in imparting export knowledge and adopt modern technology and use professional personnel in production to ensure better quality of products that will induce strong competition to international market. Moreover, the Government should have strong mechanisms to control quality and ensure that SMEs register and comply with national and international standards such as, TFDA, TBS and ISO.en_US
