An overview of the Ngorongoro conservation area situation

Abstract

The Ngorongoro Conservation Aron (NCA) was formally established by the Ngorongoro Conservation Aron Ordinance of 1959. The ordinance excised the eastern part of the former Serengeti National Park and created the present Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. The Area enjoys world renown for its scenic beauty and its abundant wildlife. In 1980 it was listed among the first 57 countries in the World heritage Site List in recognition of its outstand international value as a natural and cultural heritage of humanity.
