Research institutions are centers for intellectual and scholarly research whereby interest is in organizing and developing the creation, technological innovation and preservation of knowledge for wider scale application. The assessment of the Impact of Academic Research on Policy Implementation through research review and observation found that most research institutions are well structured and full of facilities to support research activities covered in different areas of specialization in Tanzania. There is a lot of information about research conducted from these research institutions, in which these researches try to find the answer on social, economic and development in the country, especially in health and businesses, and among the available research promote the implementation of policy we have to date. Research methodology used is a systematic review and observation approach. The study found that researches conducted are not shared effectively and the more affected area is in the policy process. Also the policy which is already found which implemented to each ministry fail to focus the rapid change of developmental growth, population and technology advancement. Also the policy which is already found which implemented to each ministry fail to achieve implementation because of poor communication and other administrative system. A poor approach to communication found to be a source to fail in the monitoring and control of the overflow and movement of the resources, insufficient resource funds, and the approach system theory used in decision making. Strong National “Think-tank” with a “Communication System” to actors is needed to analyze, assemble and combine research and pick policy guidelines.en_US
