The aim of this study is to fold, to analyse the impact of post business start-up training on Micro and Small Enterprises' (MSEs) owners on the performance of their enterprises and to find out which factors influence them to go for post business start-up training. The motive for this study emanates from the fact that, post business start-up training has shown an outstanding impact on the performance of the MSE industry in other countries like Vietnam and Asia, but such studies have not been conducted in Tanzania. The study employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Structured questionnaires were distributed by the researcher to a sample of 100 MSEs' owners in Iringa municipality. It has been found that, the drive to go for post business start-up training is to improve the business management skills. However, there are slight differences though not significant in performance in temps of business growth, credit profile growth, and number of employees between the businesses run by people who have attended the training and those who have not. The study recommends that Micro Financial institutions (MF]s), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA), and other business development providers should find ways of organizing micro entrepreneurs so as to train them for the purpose of improving their business management skills. Further, a research design or a model that takes care of all the variables responsible for business growth and performance could be developed so to ascertain clearly the extent to which Raining affects business performance and growth.en_US
