Abstract
Party Chairman,Mwalimu Nyerere,has said the task of the Party in Tanzania's political System was to set the direction and basic policies of the country. Addressing the National Party Conference at the Diamond Jubilee Hall i Dar es Salaam yesterday Mwalimu explained that the Party had to ensure that the Government implemented the policies.
