Abstract
These notes consider some of the implications arising from the above headline in the Daily News of 1st October 1992 covering the report of an announcement by the Prime Minister and First Vice President. As one with long involvement in Ngorongoro as District Officer, Conservator, Board Member and Consultant, I commence this note by emphasizing that this step accords entirely with my long expressed views.
