The Wenner-|Gren foundation for Anthropological research has generously made available funds to facilitate the work of the commission on nomenclature and terminology of the pan-African congress on prehistory and the study of the quaternary. one of the uses proposed for the funds is the circulation of bulletins dealing with matters of terminological interest, initiating discussions from the Berkeley office of the commission. it has been printed with aid of the Archaeological research facility of the University of California, Berkeley.
