Abstract

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NGA) occupies a region of 8200 sq.km. in northern Tanzania, and forms part of the Serengeti ecosystem. The NGA is bordered on the west by Serengeti National Park, and Ly the Rift Valley escarpment on the east. To the south lie densely populated agricultural lands, and to the north lies the Loliondo Game Controlled Area
