The study focused on using credit management services to minimize risks associated with credit facilities in Tanzania. The main objective was to establish whether or not organizations that have used the credit management services of CRBAfrica have benefited from choosing that option. The study also looked at the theories favouring the use of credit management services, limitations facing the bureaux, the regulations concerning the operation of the bureaux and it made recommendations for improvements in areas of weakness. The study limited itself to the deductive approach that developed four hypotheses. Data collection compilation of secondary and primacy data, which were analyzed using a combination of descriptive analysis and transformation into codes and entering them into a computer (Statistics Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study revealed that risks, such as reputation, legal, operational and credit risks have been minimized by organizations that have used the credit management services of CRBAfrica. It is recommended that the government should emulate other countries like South Africa and Ghana where credit reference bureaux are working efficiently, especially in the legal system and reduce the limitations that hinder their operations. CRBAfrica has been urged to promote itself by utilizing the services of the marketers in order to create awareness of its various products.en_US
