The dissertation explores the organization of the supply chain in a collaborative perspective with SCM stakeholders. It aims to have a better understanding of some of the complexities of the SCM and offer insights into improving the level of practice. This is a case study at Oryx Oil Company Limited based in Dar-es-salaam, the commercial hub of Tanzania. The larger research instrument examined a range of factors related to managing supply chains and supply chain relationships, including general business conditions, information dissemination procedures, as well as SCM practices and processes. Members of the chain are required to understand the supply chain dynamics and establish performance matrices that will lead to a competitive advantage.
