Using TUSEME Project as a case study, this study examines the effectiveness of drama as a tool of communication in secondary schools and factors that affect the youths’ ability to utilize their experiences in identifying and talk publicly about issues that concern them. It illuminates the argument that drama is a powerful tool in communicating messages among the youths. Through library research, viewing of TUSEME videos and analyzing the content and form of TUSEME plays, the study managed to advance forth its argument. The study discusses the effectiveness of drama as a tool of communication among the youth and’ provides a method that is profitable and relevant to youths’ development. The study also discusses the historical background of TUSEME project, its activities especially annual festivals.
