The study specifically examined postgraduate students' IL skills in electronic environment, their attitude on IL training programmes and sought to identify challenges and strategies for effective implementation of IL programmes at SNAL. The study employed mixed research approaches where both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used. Data were collected though questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and observation. A total sample of 80 respondents was involved in the study. They included 50 postgraduate students, 10 academic librarians and 20 academic members of staff. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Microsoft Excel were used to analyze and present data for this study. Findings from this study revealed that postgraduate students' IL skills level in electronic environment at SNAL was satisfactory. It was also revealed that postgraduate students at SNAL had good attitude on IL training programmes organized and conducted by SNAL. However, the study revealed various challenges that hinder effective implementation of IL training.
