The results showed that, in its progressed stages, amblyopia is associated with eccentric fixation, abnormal hue discrimination, disturbed spatial and temporal contrast mechanisms as manifested by disturbed lightness discrimination and mesopic vision, and attenuation of the amplitude of the pattern visual evoked response.
