The method selected enabled the researcher to provide enough explanations to support the data collected and generalize the findings. The information was collected from a sample of one hundred and five respondents who filled in the questionnaire and interviews. Respondents included teachers’ training instructors, students with visual impairment, ordinary secondary school students, teachers and those with visual impairment. Heads of schools and officials from the Ministry of Education and Culture also provided data. The study also applied documentary review to obtain the secondary data. The study adopted the conceptual framework identifying these teachers to have the- working capacity if skills and working tools were provided. The study was conducted under three major research tasks. Task one identified preparation of students with visual impairment for working a£ secondary school teachers. Here, the problems affecting teaching of these students after being employed as teachers are discovered, (See 4.1). It was also discovered that provision of Braille working materials and services would enable these teachers cope with their fellow sighted in working. Task two, was on problems the teachers faced and the ways they hindered their work performance. It was found that teaching for these teachers needs proper training that considers their impairment (See 4.2). Task three assessed conditions influencing employment of these teachers and how the government can improve their working conditions. Here the government was advised to have plans of appraising the working efficiency of these teachers, (See 4.3).
