The study was undertaken using only Vodacom Tanzania Limited as a case. Respondents were randomly selected were a total of 110 respondents were involved. Data obtained were analyzed using mainly factor analysis to obtain motivational variables adopted and their impact on employees’ attitude towards work. Findings reveal that the company employed both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation strategies. However, there is an indication that, the company emphasizes some strategies than other. Additionally, it was revealed that motivation strategies attributing employees’ attitudes towards work do not necessarily match their preferences. This misalignment could demotivate employees. It is thus recommended that efforts should be made by private companies to understand employees’ most articulating motivational variables in order to enhance their enthusiasm towards works. Additionally proper communication between the management and employees is vital in making sure that their needs are articulated in the organizational strategies.enEmployee motivationMobile industryVodacom Tanzania LimitedPrivate OrganizationTanzaniaMotivation strategies adopted by private organization and their impact on employees’ attitude towards work in the mobile industry in Tanzania: a case of vodacom Tanzania limitedThesis
