dc.description.abstract | An approximate linearized solution of the St-Venant equations is developed. For the limiting case of a semi-finite channel the properties of the upstream transfer function are studied using the cumulants, and amplitude and phase spectra. These properties are compared to the linearized solution obtained by Prof. Dooge. Shape factor is compared with other hydrological models. For these comparisons the developed model gives satisfactory results. | en_US |
