A dissertation of ten surgical conditions

Abstract

This dissertation consists of three major sections of the ten surgical conditions studied in General Surgery, Urology and Orthopaedics and Trauma. General Surgery is comprised of five surgical conditions, while urology consists of two and orthopaedic and Trauma three such conditions. All these conditions have been studied, during the three years training at Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences of the University of Dar es Salaam. For each condition, one case is presented in details. The salient features of the presented case are compared with other cases and presented in tabular form. Each condition is discussed with review of the pertinent literature followed by a conclusion at the end.
