Ten surgical conditions

Abstract

This dissertation is a discussion of different surgical conditions seen at Muhimbili Medical Centre. It includes a discussion on patients collected and entirely or partially managed by the author during the period of training (1991 - 1994). The text is divided into three parts consisting of five topics on general surgery, three topics on urology and two topics on orthopaedics and trauma. In each topic one case is presented in detail followed by a discussion and general analysis and review of relevant literature.
