Abstract
This study investigated response of MSMEs towards non-financial BDS training by examining the BDS impact on MSME enterprises in different sectors and under different ownership. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. The Cronbach’s alpha test was as a measure of reliability. Results from the study revealed that most MSMEs had positive response towards non-financial training from BDS providers. However, there is a need to build awareness and encourage use of BDS by start-up MSMEs to improve their access to finance and ultimately increase their chances of survival.
