Abstract
Mr.S. H. Kassam, a Mafia born Asian businessman and proprietor of Tanzania batteries, Dar es Salaam, last weekend flew to Mafia to present Sh 300/- to president Nyerere in aid to Tanzania national children society, Mr.Kassam also presented Sh 200/- to the coast regional commissioner Mr. Selemani Kitundu, for the coast regional development fund. Mr. Kassam is seen here presenting the donation to mwalimu who was on a one- day visit to Mafia Island. Looking on is the Mafia area commissioner, Mr. Y.A.Njopeka.
