A dynamic peak detector circuit was designed. The function of this circuit is such that it starts by sorting out whether the incoming signal is voiced or voiceless and the dynamic peaks are detected in the cause of signal flow. The magnitudes of peaks and their time of occurrence in a given frame are acquire and stored in memory for further use. Circuit schematics and board layouts were designed using a computer aided design software the OrCAD version 4.31 and were done using the simulation software, LabVIEW, version 3.5, and the results satisfactorily complied with the design requirements, 2000en_US
