A plug-in interface board has been designed and this together with the software for controlling the board and processing the data graphically have been developed and successfully tested. The board is used to interface the weather prediction machine (WPM) developed earlier by Njau (1) Software packages for implementing Njau’s temperatures prediction model (2) has been developed accordingly. This software is used to compute temperature data based on the model and finally display the predicted result onto computer screen. Both the hardware and software packages mentioned above are IBM PC compatible and have been successfully used by the author store data in hard memory and later on redisplay it graphically.en_US
