    Development of model for integrating Environmental Information In Company’s Annual Reporting Systems in Tanzania.

    Corporate environmental information disclosure in Tanzania is still questionable. There is still less environmental information disclosure. The research aimed at development of a schematic model for integrating environmental information in company’s annual reporting systems. This model would assist the availability of environmental information data for decision making and other fatal uses. Environmental information is important to every individual on the earth includes regulators, investors, community, academicians, banker, sponsors and environmental decision makers if they are available when required. In order to achieve this, the thesis aimed at (1) determining the types/contents of environmental information being disclosed in company’s annual report systems (2) identifying the methods through which environmental information should be disclosed in company’s annual reporting systems (s) (3) determining factors facing environmental information disclosures in company annual reporting system(s) (4) developing a schematic model for integrating environmental information in company annual reporting systems. During carrying out the research as per objective set up, about 54 corporate were surveyed and about 99 respondents were dawned. The results from the questionnaires distributed to the mentioned respondent provided the valuable inputs for model development, such as the contents/ types of environmental information for disclosure, methods through which environmental information. Based on analysis conducted through the available statistical tools. (SPSS) it was concluded that the developed model would provide degree of improving environmental information disclosure as a way forward in protecting environmental for sustainable development of life on the earth. Also the researcher recommended on the applicability of the model as the future area for further research. Furthermore the thesis will contributes to increase knowledge on environmental information disclosure within and between the organizations.
