    Analysis of the influence of leasing finance on organizational performance in Tanzania

    This study is about the analysis of the influence of lease finance on the Organizational performance in Tanzania. It aimed at examining the influence of lease financing on the Organizational performance in term of revenue performance, cost management and business expansion. The data for the study was collected from annual financial reports of 100 sample companies which had leasing facilities with leasing companies for the past five years in Tanzania. This list was randomly selected from leasing companies available in Dar es salaam. Data analysis was done through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). A T-test was conducted to analyze the effect of lease finance on the organizational performance in Tanzania. The T-test was conducted to analyze the performance of the organization before their involvement in leasing facilities and the results were compared to the analysis of the performance after taking the lease finance. The results of the study revealed that lease financing has significant impact on the cost management and revenue performance of the firms. However the results also reveal that lease finance, is not influencing the companies to expand by opening new outlet, but help the organization to reach other destinations easily. The research finally recommends that firms should use lease financing as a method of financing their operations as evidence suggests that value is added through the use of lease financing.
