Recruitment Agencies use on Organizational Quality Performance in Tanzania Evidence from Brighter Monday Beneficiaries in Dar es Salaam City
(University of Dar es Salaam, 2019) Ngowi, Natasha Ngalla
This study assessed the impact of recruitment agencies use on organization quality performance with Brighter Monday as relevant case study. The study was guided by three hypotheses which were agency employee database use, agency recruitment process and agency recruitment cost which were tested on organization quality performance as a result of being incorporated with recruitment agencies. Explanatory design was used to ensure information generation through casual relationship approach. The study used primary data to fill the gap whereas information from 70 respondents through structured questionnaires was gathered. The information collected were computed in SPSS data sheet to foster the generation of statistical measurements to present the primary data. Descriptive statistics were first used to describe the profile of the respondents, while correlation and multiple regressions were used to describe the relationship between study variables. Finding were clear that two independent variables which are agency employee database and agency recruitment cost were found to be positive and statistically significant on organization quality performance. On the other hand, agency recruitment process as the predicting variables has been found positive with insignificant effect on organization quality performance. This implies the organization quality performance through recruitment agencies use is facilitated by agency employee database use and agency recruitment cost. The study recommends that it is important for the organizations to embark on the use of the agencies in recruitment process where necessary since they possess high chances of providing adequate individuals as employees. Also, it is a way towards cost reduction by the organization in recruitment.
