    Staff training influence and organisation performance: a case study of CRDB Plc

    The objective of the study was to examine staff training influence and organization performance. Training and development enhance job satisfaction including productivity for organizations because employees know their employer’s expectations due to their knowledge and tools to perform their job efficiently. The study used both quantitative and qualitative methods research approaches. The study involved 100 respondents from CRDB PLC. Further the study employed questionnaire and interview data collection methods. Results from the study revealed that most respondents were unaware of methods used on participation of training, kind of training participated, intentions of training and even low number of the participants in the trainings. Recommendations include: improve workers interpersonal skills; enhance carrier development; motivate employees; disseminate specific information to employees; inform employees about training procedures; carry out training evaluation and undertake performance appraisal.
