    Factors influencing quality of repairs, service and maintenance of ground support equipment (GSE: a case study of DAHACO

    This study identifies factors influencing quality of repairs, services, and maintenance of Ground support Equipment (GSE) in airport handling services with special reference to DAHACO Ltd. The study involved reviewing different literatures on factors influencing quality of repairs, services and maintenance of GSE. The purpose of study is to identify factors influencing poor quality of repairs services and maintenance of GSE; eventually both management and maintenance personnel can take appropriate action to improve quality of repairs, services and maintenance of GSE. Data was collected by means of questionnaires and schedule interview in the case study organization DAHACO Ltd. By analysing the data collected , findings from the study shown that the main factors affecting the quality of repairs, services and maintenance of GSE include: Work environment ; Training of maintenance personnel; Standardisation and set up of procedures for quality of quality repairs, services and maintenance of GSE. From the study it concluded be recommended that appropriate measures be taken for the company to maximize benefit s from the implementation of identifying factors influencing quality of repairs, services and maintenance of GSE. This includes.
