    Obstetric and gynaecologic cases and commentaries

    This study deals with diagnosis, prognosis and the treatment of specified Obstetric and Gynaecologic cases, with commentaries given on the results of the treatment as well as the process of carrying the treatment. The gynaecological cases dealt with in this study included: induced septic abortion, squamous cell carcinoma of cervix treatment by radiotheraphy; uterine myomate and total abdominal hysterectomy; Laparascopic sterilisation with fallope rings; Ruptured ectgopic pregnancy; ovarian cancer omentectomy and adjunctive radiography; bartholin’s abscess marsupialisation; Vesco vaginal fistula due to Obstructed labour; invasive mole of uterine curretage and treatment and acute pelvic inflammatory disease. The Obstetric cases studied and handled include: Management of labour using a partogram; Cerricalcirclage and successful term pregnancy; Severe EPH Gestosis induction of labour at weeks; recurrent macerated stillbirths; heart disease in pregnancy; premature rupture of membraves at 35 weeks; Breech presentation and assisted breech delivery; Anaemia of pregnancy; antepartum haemorrhage due to asbruptio placenta and cord prelapse in a grand mutipara.
